She dreamed of being a writer
Poured her heart out
And when she finished her novel
She danced all about
It was her best work
And it made her proud
Until she got the rejection letter
Which she read out loud
And so that writer
Set down her pen
It sits collecting dust
Since she put it down back then

Being rejected

There was a young boy
Who wanted to be cool
No matter how he tried
He always ended up the fool
His peers laughed at him
Thought he was a joke

Made him want to choke

They loved their song
But they often forgot
They had more kids than one
Little Sally tried hard
To please mom and dad
But they didn't care at all
It's what made her mad
Sally packed her bags
Ran into the night
But they still had their son
So who cares if she's all right?

His anger erupts
Takes it out on Billy
Who whimpers like the pups
He yells and he screams
Billy runs in fear
Dad catches up
Down rolls the tear

Pushes Billy down the stair
Billy breaks his neck
His life ends there
